About The Position

Program Manager Data Center Migration Program ManagerMcLean, VA |PRISM is seeking an experienced, strategic Program Manager to lead our critical, enterprise-wide Data Center Migration program, transitioning core infrastructure and applications from on-premises data centers to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services. This high-impact role requires expertise in complex IT migration, strong program governance, and proven leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT Program/Project Management experience, with 3+ years leading large-scale Datacenter Migration or infrastructure transformation projects.
• Bachelor's Degree required, coupled with strong knowledge of cloud (AWS) and on-premises datacenter architectures and networking.
• PMP and Scrum Master Certifications (or other Agile certifications) required, demonstrating expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to successfully lead and influence large, cross-functional teams and drive large projects to completion while interacting with executive leadership.
• Expertise in project financials, excellent communication/organizational skills, and proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Drive the end-to-end Data Center-to-AWS migration, ensuring successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
• Planning & Control: Develop comprehensive program plans (scope, timelines, resources, and risk), manage project estimates, and monitor component schedules and quality, with corrective actions.
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize key strategic cloud initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead and coordinate all cross-functional teams (Infra, Security, Application) and manage vendor/third-party performance.
• Governance & Reporting: Lead status meetings, provide clear executive-level updates, and enforce strict process and methodology standards.
• Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify and mitigate technical/operational risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and security requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion PM best practices, document lessons learned, and mentor team members to grow organizational capabilities.
