About The Position

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As Google expands its global infrastructure, we are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Program Lead to join our Data Center Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology and construction to gain valuable experience in an innovative environment. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing our data centers to life. You will manage a fast paced, national level program. You will manage various aspects of data center projects, from initial concept and design through to construction and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget while meeting our standards for quality and efficiency. You will contribute directly to the infrastructure that powers Google's products and services, used by billions of people worldwide. You will collaborate with engineers, construction managers, and technical specialists in a supportive environment and develop and implement creative solutions that address the challenges of building and operating hyper-scale data centers. You will gain experience in a high-growth area with opportunities for advancement at Google. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.
