About The Position

Provides leadership and/or business and technical oversight of assigned configuration segments within the organization. Creates and rolls out policies and procedures associated with assigned configuration segments. Acts as point of contact and has full accountability for a high degree of redundancy and reliability of assigned configuration segment.

Responsibilities

• Identifies best practices for service offerings for all areas of configuration.
• Acts as the business liaison for IT for software upgrade management, which includes but is not limited to, release updates, enhancements, issues lists and new product evaluations.
• Acts as the business liaison for vendor solutions, including vendor management, contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, release updates, issues lists and new product evaluations.
• Prepares periodic budget and adherence for the department.
• Monitors compliance with Operations procedures and policies and reports findings to Operations leadership.
• Presents issues and concerns to Operations leadership along with potential solutions when appropriate.
• Works with departmental and division management to develop and implement Operations strategies.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including productivity standards.
• Develops and administers Operations budget for responsible area.
• Practices fiscally sound budget management to ensure spending is held to allocated funds.
• Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
