Gang Alternative, Inc.’s Collective Action for Addressing Trauma Program involves programming in the tri-county area, namely: Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties. It is designed to effectively address community violence and collective trauma, using a comprehensive, integrated and multi-sectoral approach to substance use prevention, violence prevention, and trauma-focused community engagement. The Program Manager will oversee a program to promote resilience, trauma-informed approaches, and equity in communities that have recently faced community violence, and collective trauma. The program assists high-risk youth and families through the implementation of evidence-based violence prevention, and community youth engagement programs. This position is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program including planning, implementing, and coordinating both the programmatic and operational activities of the program in accordance with the mission and goals of the Gang Alternative, Inc.
