Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Program Manager for our Cleft Lip/Palate and Cataract (CLP/CAT) initiatives. This role is responsible for leading international surgical teams, overseeing all aspects of program execution, and providing strategic coordination, recruitment, logistics, and operational management. A day in the life of a CLP/CAT Program Manager: At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! In the role of CLP/CAT Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him. Manage and oversee CLP/CAT programming in designated countries, including supervision and development of national program staff. Develop annual country budgets for programs and provide oversight to ensure fiscal accountability, compliance, and alignment with organizational and programmatic goals. Obtain necessary permissions and agreements from local Ministries of Health and partnering hospital facilities, and assist with licensing in host countries. Serve as team leader on multiple CLP/CAT missions, providing leadership to volunteer teams in preparation for and during surgical missions. Recruit, select, train, and build relationships with qualified CLP/CAT team medical volunteers. Provide clear volunteer roles and determine placement. Identify, recruit, and select national partners and manage national program staff in designated countries. Oversee the development and implementation of evangelism and spiritual care strategies, as well as spiritual follow-up plans for CLP/CAT beneficiaries, ensuring engagement of qualified, local pastors. Ensure all medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment are available for CLP/CAT missions, work with Projects Logistics and oversee relationships with government officials to procure supplies and obtain customs clearance, and conduct post-mission inventories. Oversee in-country patient screening and recruitment efforts, maintain beneficiary lists/contact information, and oversee patient coordination during surgical week.
