Where hard stuff is done right! Directs all phases of program/projects from capture through completion. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing programs/projects and serves as liaison between financial management and planning, project teams, functional team and subcontractors. Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal technical and cost sections, statement of work, terms/conditions Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes/coordinates engineering and technical, integration and test and evaluation efforts. Establishes program budget and milestones and monitors adherence to costs schedules. Determines reasons and plans response for shortfalls in program revenue targets. Facilitates regular, professional team meetings across program team with active follow-up action items. Communicates complex issues/gains consensus with the engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports, including resource utilization and risk management. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. What you will do! Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors. Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer.

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience. (Bachelor of Science preferred)
  • 3 years of Program management experience
  • Military service in Navy or Marine Corps of at least 5 yrs on surface ships or with deployed Marine units.
  • Position will require approximately 25% travel.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
