The Program Manager 1 at Northrop Grumman is responsible for overseeing the delivery of contractual requirements on cost and schedule while achieving technical objectives. This role involves managing international efforts related to AARGM programs, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship building.   • Manage AARGM international efforts including AARGM International Cooperative Production and F-35 AC integration.
  • Cultivate US and International customer relationships to develop further opportunities.
  • Develop new international business opportunities through strategic planning and proposal development.
  • Coordinate with International Trade Compliance to ensure necessary export licenses are in place.
  • Establish a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet program objectives.
  • Measure and report program performance to stakeholders.
  • Deliver presentations to customers and executive management.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and manage contract changes.
  • Establish design concepts and engineering efforts for product development.
  • Create and finalize the program Statement of Work.
  • Identify, track, and complete program requirements.
  • Manage program baselines and budget adherence using Earned Value Management.
  • Identify and manage program resources and suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity management practices.
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 5 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts.
  • 3 years of experience leading tasks on schedule and at cost.
  • 5 years of demonstrated success leading teams to achieve common goals.
  • Competency in Project Management skills and toolsets.
  • Knowledge of pricing and proposals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%).
  • A degree in a science, engineering, or business program.
  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry or with the Department of Defense or NASA.
  • PMP® certification.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to define technical strategy for capturing business in new areas.
