The Program Manager 1 at Augusta University will provide administrative support for the PhD in Intelligence, Defense, and Cybersecurity Policy (IDCP) program within the Department of Social Sciences. This role involves managing budgets, assisting with recruitment, processing graduate assistantships, and supporting student advising and registration. The position is crucial for the smooth operation of the program and requires strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Assist the director of the PhD-IDCP with budget and administrative tasks, including maintaining files, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Provide customer service regarding the program to students, faculty, staff, and the community in person, via email, and on the phone.
  • Maintain the program website and help coordinate communication with students and faculty.
  • Assist the director with student success by maintaining a graduate worksheet and tracking student milestones.
  • Prepare promotional materials for recruitment and produce social media posts highlighting program success.
  • Help process paperwork related to recruitment travel and educational fairs.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Associate's degree or completion of two or more years of education from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of six years of applicable experience, including at least three years in an academic setting.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three to four years of previous experience working in an academic or higher education setting.
