As the Program Manager 1, you will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated program under direction from Program Director to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Manage all aspects of assigned programs, including but not limited to schedule, performance, financial and customer communications. There are no direct reports for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Technical Field.
  • Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance may be required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with and enlist the assistance of other internal resources as necessary to affect the functions of contract administration, purchasing, production, cost control and analysis, reporting, etc. on established/awarded programs.
  • Maintain strong customer commitment through regular communication to advise status of program and resolve issues.
  • Respond and manage urgent contract/production/materials/supply chain/etc. issues as they arise in a timely and organized manner.
  • Develop proposals/pricing strategic paths to compete for and be awarded new contracts.
  • Manage special projects as needed.
