Program Management Mgr DMS - Level 5
About The Position
The Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Program Manager (PM) shall be responsible for leading all aspects of specific DMS projects for the C-130J production and sustainment programs. They shall be responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of their respective DMS programs. The individual shall be capable of identifying risk/opportunities, developing appropriate mitigation plans and monitoring progress. They shall have the ability to work with cross-functional teams, to include multiple suppliers and various customers, with little oversight and coordinate the closure of DMS activities to ensure there are no disruptions (due to DMS) to our C-130J production programs and that there is continuous support of our C-130J sustainment programs. Extensive travel domestically up to 40% and international travel periodically.
Requirements
- Understanding of scheduling, and Earned Value Management Systems
- Working knowledge of Air Vehicle Systems and Subsystems
- Experience in relationship development with internal and external customers
- Understanding of customer requirements
- Understanding of the USG contracting process
- This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Clearance Level: Secret
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge and understanding of C-130 platforms and various customer configurations.
- Knowledge and experience with C-130 production manufacturing process from design through build.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Data Collaboration System (EDCS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Supplier Data Requirements (SDRL).
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Work across function organizational lines.
- Building strong work relationships across the internal organization.
