About The Position

As the Program Management Lead, you will oversee the execution and strategic growth of environmental consulting services across the Pacific and Alaska. This leadership role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects involving compliance, site remediation, and natural resources for federal, state, and tribal clients. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and client relations, ensuring that multidisciplinary teams deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that protect natural and cultural resources.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or program management, with a proven track record of managing federal contracts.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of environmental compliance, site characterization, and remediation strategies specific to the Pacific and Alaska regions.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage remote or geographically dispersed teams and lead multidisciplinary technical groups.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in public speaking and tribal engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification (PMP, PE, or PG).
  • Experience with Military Munitions Response Programs (MMRP) or renewable energy planning.
  • Familiarity with Digital Solutions and GIS applications in environmental planning.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of complex environmental programs, including PFAS-contaminated site management, natural resources management, abandoned mine lands, and ecological restoration.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee project lifecycles from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and regulatory requirements (CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA).
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team of specialists, including geologists, biologists, archaeologists, and engineers.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for federal agencies (DoD and civilian), local governments, and Tribal Nations. Facilitate tribal liaison services and public involvement initiatives.
  • Strategic Growth: Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities in the Pacific and Alaska markets, contributing to proposal development, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous technical standards to ensure all deliverables meet company and client expectations for excellence and accuracy.
