Requirements

Possess current certification in field
Leadership and supervisory abilities
Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm
Excellent organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of standard practices in wellness
Ability to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles
Proficiency with fitness, wellness, nutrition knowledge and coaching techniques
Proficient with developing plan for continued growth in clients' skills

Responsibilities

Safely instruct client or team through an effective coaching session
Provide quality customer service to all clients and potential clients, regardless of skill level, appearance, or otherwise
Ensure client safety
Communicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in person
Enforce all program policies and procedures
Enforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies
Attend all instructor and necessary all-department staff meetings
Safely instruct effective, creative practices or private lessons
Provide quality customer service to all participants in class, regardless of fitness level, appearance, or otherwise
Attend all necessary meetings and trainings
Other duties as required
