About The Position

As a Program Financial Analyst I, you will be using your skills and expertise to review, monitor, and control program financial costs in support of our internal and external project reporting. You'll be responsible for preparing budgets (BAC) and schedules for program assignments and assisting with bid and proposals, financial reporting, "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and variance analysis. You'll positively impact the business by being highly organized and staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines and EAC's. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and typically 0-2 years of relevant experience. A higher level degree may substitute for experience Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Experience with financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities

  • Review, monitor, and control project data for internal and external project reporting.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with cost proposals and pricing documentation.
  • Conduct "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis.
  • Monitor outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
