About The Position

We are seeking a Program Finance Lead specializing in U.S. government contracts to work at our North American headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. This position is responsible for leading financial reporting, analysis and billing efforts for RSNA's government business. As a member of the Government Accounting team, you will be responsible for reporting, analyzing, quality control of actual expenditure and ensuring accuracy and compliance of the supporting documentation for billing. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program execution. This position will report to the Manager of Government Accounting and will play a major role providing guidance to program personnel.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience leading major program reporting efforts for Government contracts (FAA preferred)
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and SAP in a government contracting environment, advanced knowledge preferred
  • Experience with EVM reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and AMS regulations
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • To be considered, external candidates must be US Persons capable of obtaining Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with program management, engineering, deployment, contracts and others to develop the necessary reporting and analysis tools for PMO and CAMs to manage the program.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), and other government regulations, as necessary.
  • Prepare and ensure quality control for billing documentation. Work with cross functional teams to ensure the billing is timely, accurate and compliant.
  • Track and analyze actual costs vs. budget and forecasts compiling actual data from multiple systems. Work together with the EVMS Manager on Program Controls deliverables.
  • Standardize and document the processes, methods, and tools for program financial management.
  • Continually assess and improve the reporting processes and tools used by the team to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support audit reviews by government agencies, including DCMA and DCAA, ensuring transparency and adherence to cost estimating policies and procedures.
