About The Position

Eastside Rise seeks to hire a Program Fellow to join a new, dynamic community development corporation in east Tulsa. This role is pivotal to the organization, as it will support the growth of programs that support east Tulsa’s community, making a tangible difference in the lives of the residents. As the Program Fellow, your role will focus on the implementation of current Eastside Rise programs with a primary focus on the Naturalization Program. This includes processing applications, supporting recruitment of clients through community partners and trusted messengers, ongoing communication throughout the program, and tracking data. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented person who is interested in program implementation and can work independently, enjoys helping people in diverse situations, and can identify areas for improvement. This position reports to the Program Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required and commensurate experience.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a related position.
  • Previous experience in program implementation preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Process oriented and able to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport among diverse audiences.
  • Ability to balance operational and programmatic responsibilities, remaining flexible.
  • Outstanding cross-cultural communication skills.
  • An unwavering personal and professional commitment to social, racial, and economic justice.
  • Strong people skills and an enthusiasm for working with diverse populations.
  • An ability to exercise sound decision-making in real-time.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and move up to twenty-five pounds.
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Working in front of computer screens for up to 8 hours a day
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings

Responsibilities

  • Process all applications for naturalization program, facilitating next steps and approval processes
  • Input relevant application data, timely follow up and other operational needs to support the program
  • Submit all invoices as required to Program Manager for approval
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, Community Engagement Manager, and community stakeholders to recruit eligible clients to program
  • Complete all data tracking and reporting
  • In coordination with Program Manager, analyze program data for continuous improvement
  • Participate in team meetings and activities to support learning and development including, but not limited to, weekly staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Represent the organization in external meetings, professional groups, conferences, and other relevant settings
  • Participate in community-based activities to gain exposure to various aspects of the organization’s efforts, and receive coaching and professional development from your manager and other staff members
  • Contribute to the organization’s projects in other ways, as assigned
