About The Position

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Program Evaluation Analyst. As a project team leader, facilitates and coordinates project meetings and activities to analyze data collection and prepare complex reports showing potential outcomes of specific scenarios as well as develops and monitors project plans and timeliness. Develops performance measures and standards options to assist in the outcome review of integrated care services through community providers. Develops, maintains and improves a tracking system to incorporate all data into a workable framework that can be used to analyze and project specific information regarding grant programs.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, supplemented by a master's degree in business or public administration, with coursework in areas such as economic theory, accounting and finance, organizational theory, and operations research.
  • Requires three (3) years progressively responsible professional experience in management operations analysis.

  • Three (3) years of professional experience analyzing data collection and preparing complex reports showing potential outcomes of specific scenarios for a public or private organization.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience developing and monitoring project plans and timeliness of completed projects.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience researching federal regulations, articles and documents in order to ensure health care is meeting federal laws.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience initiating and designing new or revision data collection techniques and forms and prepare new statistical models.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience developing, maintaining and improving a tracking system to incorporate all data into a workable framework that can be sued to analyze and project specific information regarding grant programs.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience developing, compiling and maintaining a Community Services Directory for a public or private organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a Program Evaluation Analyst.
  • Through regression analysis, risk analysis and input/output analysis, researches the federal regulations, articles, and documents developed by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), the National Council, Health Resources and Service Administrator (HRSA), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) etc.
  • Develops performance measures and standards options to assist in the outcome review of integrated care services through community providers by establishing data for evaluation of the appropriateness of Federal grants, match funding and GRF to fund services to provide comprehensive care including housing, clinical, medical, religious and employment opportunities.
  • Develops, maintains, and improves a tracking system to incorporate all data into a workable framework that can be used to analyze and project specific information regarding grant programs.
  • Develops, compiles, and maintains a Community Services Directory which consists of all mental health providers and all services available through participating community providers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required that are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
