The Resource Connection is seeking a visionary, mission ‑ driven executive to lead the Calaveras Crisis Center, Murphys Calaveras Crisis Center and the Calaveras Children's Advocacy Center. All which are cornerstone programs providing safety, healing, and hope for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. The Program Director will serve as a strategic leader and champion for trauma ‑ informed, survivor ‑ centered services, guiding complex multidisciplinary teams while cultivating a culture of compassion, accountability, and excellence. This role demands a leader who can balance high ‑ level organizational stewardship with a deep awareness of the lived experiences of survivors, ensuring programs remain responsive, culturally relevant, and aligned with best practices. As a key member of The Resource Connection's leadership team, the Program Director will strengthen community partnerships, enhance program visibility, and drive initiatives that expand access to critical services across Calaveras County. What You'll Do: Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team Oversee daily operations for both programs Manage 8 streams of funding, a budget of over $1.5 million, grant compliance, and fiscal reporting Strengthen partnerships with law enforcement, probation, schools, Health and Human Services, hospitals, and community partners Ensure culturally responsive, survivor-centered service delivery Support program strategy, development, and community outreach Oversee the functionality of three offices in Calaveras County Actively organization and seek out fundraising opportunities Participate in multi-county meetings What We're Looking For: Strong leadership and communication skills Demonstrates strong organization and time-management skills by effectively priority tasks, coordinating competing deadlines, and maintaining accurate systems. Experience in victim advocacy, social services, or related fields Knowledge of trauma-informed practices Grant or program management experience (preferred) Compassion, professionalism, and commitment to equity and safety A leader who possesses or is willing to complete the required Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault training within 6-month of the hire date.
