About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director – Employment Services to lead and oversee our ACCES-VR and OPWDD programs. This role is responsible for program operations, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery for individuals with barriers to employment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about workforce development, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to empowering individuals to achieve employment success. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Valid, clean New York State Driver’s License
  • Reliable personal transportation

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a manageable caseload to support program needs and model best practices in service delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with ACCES-VR, OPWDD, and all applicable regulatory and agency requirements
  • Oversee program operations including documentation, reporting, referrals, and service flow
  • Monitor budgets, billing procedures, and Medicaid/contract compliance requirements
  • Supervise, coach, and support program staff, including performance management
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and promote ongoing staff development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ACCES-VR teams, OPWDD providers, and community partners
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for staff and participants
  • Ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and high-quality customer service
  • Support agency initiatives and perform additional duties as needed
