About The Position

The Program Director oversees the operation of a program or a center. Is responsible for budget preparation and management as well as performance of the employees in the program or center. Loma Linda University School of Dentistry is seeking applicants or nominations of candidates for the position of Director of Center for Dental Research, which is a full-time faculty position at the level of Associate Professor or above. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operation of the Center, which includes Divisions of Laboratory Research, Clinical Research, Research Services, and Micro-Imaging Facility. The candidate is also expected to conduct own funded, independent research. The Center Director reports to the Dean of School of Dentistry. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree required or an equivalent degree in biomedical or related sciences
  • Minimum four years of related experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Research experience in biomaterials, bioinformatics, biomechanics, cancers, cell biology, histology, biochemical or molecular biological assays, is preferred.
