The Program Development Intern will support food security fundraising initiatives by conducting proactive research, identifying new funding opportunities, and assisting with the development of grant pipelines and prospect tracking systems. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to nonprofit fundraising strategy, with a particular emphasis on food access, community nutrition, and food security programs. The internship intentionally aligns with the nonprofit fundraising calendar, with summer months representing the most intensive period due to a high volume of grant opportunities, RFP releases, and foundation deadlines. The intern will play a critical role in helping the organization stay ahead of opportunities through consistent, structured, and forward-looking research.
