About The Position

The Work-Based Learning Program Developer facilitates work-based learning opportunities that connect students with employers in in-demand fields of study while supporting LCCC’s earn-and-learn programs. This position coordinates employer engagement activities, collaborates with faculty and college personnel, supports student outreach and recruitment, monitors curriculum updates, and tracks work-based learning activities. The Program Developer builds relationships with employers whose workforce needs align with the college’s degree programs and coordinates employer visits with faculty. Responsibilities also include assisting with recruitment of high school and adult students, presenting program updates to LCCC advisors, organizing program information sessions, and working directly with students. This role supports student success by helping identify work-based learning and employment opportunities and by connecting students with resources such as resume preparation, interview training, and employability skill development. The Program Developer also assists faculty in helping students understand work-based learning program requirements and tracks employer and student engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, Organizational Development, Manufacturing or related fields.
  • Minimum three years’ experience within human resources, project management, organizational management or related fields with a focus on industry engagement, communications including stakeholder engagement, report development, and presentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, be well organized and detail oriented, have good problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft office.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, Organizational Development, Manufacturing or related fields.
  • Minimum five years’ experience within human resources, project management, organizational management or related fields.
  • Demonstrated strong project management and presentation/facilitation skills.
