This position is a part of operations finance team in the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) division supporting the PATRIOT Integrated Product Teams. PATRIOT has a wide range of Contract Types, Customers, and Deliverables. The successful candidate for this position will support quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), monthly Earned Value Analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests, demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis, assist in financial recommendations, and communicate effectively while partnering with management.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, particularly with Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Earn Value Management System (EVMS) Certified
  • Experienced user of SAP (APEX and/or Prism), RTN PMX, or similar system
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, willing to take on challenges
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Operations/GSCM finance or factory/manufacturing finance experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial analysis for both total program and product level cost elements to help define and understand monthly and quarterly variances from budget and EAC positions
  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking to ensure adequate funding is available using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems
  • Partner with Patriot Product Line Teams, LADS Program Management Offices, and Cross Business Teams
