Raytheon's El Segundo, CA, Fire control Radar Products (FCRP), an Advanced Products & Solutions Sub-Business Unit has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Program Cost Control Principal Analyst to join the FCRP USAF Production team. The USAF Production portfolio consists of domestic and international programs centered on production of the highly technical radar system utilized in F-15 jets and other applications (shipborne). This position is in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment with an emphasis on skills in forecasting, large data analysis, and leadership communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading program financial requirements and have Financial Planning & Analysis responsibilities. Success in this role will be dictated by one’s ability to meet critical deadlines while managing conflicting priorities. The lead will need to analyze and understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions. The candidate will need to exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen, and exhibit robust analysis within the FCRP USAF Production portfolio. This role must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or related field or equivalent experience in a finance discipline and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or a an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' finance experience.
  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Excellent experience with forecasting and budgeting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • FP&A responsibilities: Short Range Outlook (SRO), Annual Operation Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Planning.
  • Ad hoc analysis.
  • Support various customer and senior management level meetings.
  • Lead analyst of multiple programs.
