About The Position

The Immersive and International Programs Team is an integral part of Lindner's Office of Experiential Learning & Teaching Excellence. I&IP supports a variety of immersive, experiential learning opportunities for students at Lindner, including but not limited to: study abroad, domestic travel, and collaboration with Cincinnati-based companies and industries. I&IP staff work closely with faculty, staff, and partner universities and organizations to create impactful, real-world learning experiences that prepare students for their future, both at Lindner and in their careers after graduation. Job Overview The Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Immersive & International Programs. This role will predominantly suppor t experiential learning opportunities at Lindner through faculty-led travel and collaboration with US-based companies and institutions, including those in Cincinnati. Some support of international programming may also be required. The Program Coordinator will work closely with faculty, and staff at Lindner, as well as non-Lindner partners both within and outside of UC. Plan, evaluate, modify, and coordinate program logistics for domestic travel. This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
  • One (1) year of program coordination experience.

  • Experience with remote instruction, COIL, Virtual Exchange, and experiential learning theories.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, evaluate, modify, and coordinate program logistics for domestic travel.
  • Support and manage development of seminars, classes, workshops or programs, including Virtual Exchange and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL), either as part of an existing course or as a standalone experience. This includes coordinating with partners, institutions / companies, travel and logistics planning, and administrative support through CONCUR for expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Support and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward program objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions. Prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Provide financial and logistical administrative support for program initiatives.
  • Develop, administer, and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies, and other university departments.
  • Gather and review benchmark information to develop new program ideas and propose program changes.
