Why ReDiscover? 700+ dedicated professionals Over five decades of community impact A culture grounded in compassion, collaboration, and growth About the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic Program The Adult and Youth Urgent Care Clinic is part of ReDiscover's Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic (BHUCC). The BHUCC is the first program of it's kind in the Kansas City area that provides the community immediate, same-day access to psychiatric medication for mental health and substance use needs. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the BHUCC team provides care to clients every day of the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the client's and community's needs. What You’ll Do Provide clinical and administrative oversight of ReDiscover's Behavioral Health Urgent Care Program both directly and through the supervision of departmental supervisors. Significant cooperation with internal sources (administration, program managers, team leaders, etc…) and external sources (police, courts, managed care companies and all other referral sources), to ensure that the services provided are of the highest quality, accessible in a timely fashion, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve. Provides feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources. Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover’s designated electronic medical record. Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care. Requirements of the Position Availability to work a full time schedule within the hours of 9:00am-9:00pm. The shifts can be five 8 hour shifts, 4 ten hour shifts, or 12 hour shifts.

Requirements

  • Availability to work a full time schedule within the hours of 9:00am-9:00pm. The shifts can be five 8 hour shifts, 4 ten hour shifts, or 12 hour shifts.
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
  • Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is highly preferred.
  • Will also consider LMSW or PLPC who are under supervision.
  • At least four (4) years of clinical experience in a direct service provision to adults and/or children in a mental health setting.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory and management of mid-level employees experience is requested and preferred.
  • Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as G-Suite.
  • Understanding the function of nonprofits, specifically within behavioral healthcare is preferred.
