The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the strategy and implementation of participant-related activities for key peer-to-peer events at the Jimmy Fund, including the Jimmy Fund Walk and the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge. This position involves collaboration with team members to manage portfolios, analyze data, and ensure the achievement of goals and KPIs, while embodying the core values of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

  • Support the strategy and implementation of participant-related stewardship, cultivation, and engagement activities for peer-to-peer events.
  • Manage a portfolio of teams in the Jimmy Fund Walk and Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge runners.
  • Conduct outreach to participants as needed.
  • Oversee P2P Community Fundraising Events and manage fundraising and stewardship reports.
  • Liaise with the fiscal department to ensure proper crediting and acknowledgment of funds raised.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly processes for fund designation by restricted teams.
  • Oversee and manage the Run Any Race Program and its participants.
  • Provide administrative support for the P2P Stewardship team and the Director of Stewardship.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify best practices and areas for innovation and growth.
  • High school diploma or equivalency required; Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative work experience required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, and Adobe.
  • Basic experience in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem solve with minimal guidance and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Experience in fundraising or event coordination.
  • Familiarity with cancer research and patient care environments.
