Performs professional level work developing, organizing, administering, and evaluating assigned programs and functions, providing guidance and technical expertise to assigned program staff, other departments, the community, and program participants. Incumbent may coordinate one or more specialized programs. The Program Coordinator – Mobile Services coordinates the centralized, system wide process for providing bookmobile service to Hillsborough County residents who are unable to visit the library and its branches. To learn more about Mobile Services, visit the Library2Go page. This position supervises the library’s Mobile Services team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience with coordinating a program or function of a library, including supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skills and will be comfortable with technology. Bilingual skills (speaking and writing proficiency in English and Spanish) are highly desirable.
