About The Position

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). Among the key duties of the position are the following: Serves as a liaison to Ticket Holders in the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work Program, enrolled as beneficiaries in the Employment Network division of the RCAAS. Recruits and manages a caseload of 25-50 neurodivergent job seekers, advocating for employment and supporting their employment goals through the RCAAS Employment Network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field and at least two (2) years of experience working with individuals with disabilities; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Familiarity with SSA's Ticket to Work Program and vocational rehabilitation services.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably neurodivergent populations, with experience in community-based employment supports.
  • Experience with employment networks or supported employment programs.
  • Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and neurodiversity.
