Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Department of Kinesiology & Health within the School of Arts and Sciences. This position serves as an academic advisor for the Department of Kinesiology and Health, reporting to the Senior Program Administrator, who is the Senior Academic Advisor for the department. This involves advising over 1400 declared/undecided majors and minors in Exercise Science and Sport Management on the course selection and registration processes. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Accomplishes day-to-day advising tasks and along with supporting the undergraduate academic programs. Creates more efficient and productive processes for students, faculty, and staff. Develops new programs and resources focused on student learning and supporting students in attaining their educational and career goals and maintaining relationships with other academic departments within the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences.
