The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council is a non-profit organization formed by the Native American Tribes of Wisconsin. We serve all WI tribes by providing administration of grant-funded programs either directly or with sub grants. Programs range from Child and Maternal services to Education to Disability and Elder benefits. Our Mission is: To Enhance the Quality of Life for all Native People. Program Coordinator, Great Lakes Native American Research Center for Health (NARCH) Position Summary The Great Lakes NARCH Program Coordinator will split efforts to support student career enhancement and research capacity building activities of the Great Lakes Native American Research Center for Health (NARCH) program. The Program Coordinator will: actively recruit and encourage the educational and career development of indigenous students in health-related and research careers; serve as a vital link to support and coordinate collaboration between Great Lakes NARCH staff, Tribal Colleges/Universities and other academic partners, students, and Tribal community members/organizations to build infrastructure and research capacity. Daily attendance is a requirement of this position.
