Your Role The Behavioral Health Operations Oversight team maintains program integrity, ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and facilitates behavioral health workgroups and committees. The Program Coordinator, Experienced, will report to the Program Manager, Principal - Behavioral Health Operations Oversight. In this role, you will support Blue Shield of California’s Behavioral Health program through a variety of behavioral health performance monitoring and quality improvement activities. Responsibilities Your Work In this role, you will: Be responsible for strategic alignment and integration across projects/programs, from initiation through delivery, in support of business unit process and administrative efficiency Participate cross-functionally in business planning to support business unit strategy Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results Create large, complex reports in support of behavioral health focused workgroups and committees Support the facilitation of behavioral health focused workgroups and committees Identify suboptimal behavioral health performance and participate in performance improvement tracking Partner with behavioral health stakeholders across the organization in support of timely and accurate report development Fulfill additional assigned duties as directed Qualifications Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a college degree or equivalent experience Requires 3 years of prior relevant experience in managed care/behavioral health operations Ability to transfer data into clear, actionable insights through effective visualization and presentation techniques Excellent time management skills and abilities Strong understanding of fundamental reporting concepts, including creating and interpreting line charts, bar charts, and pivot tables Strong ethics and integrity Proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for data visualization and reporting
