About The Position

We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will develop, deliver and monitor in-demand training courses and programs to meet the needs of the labor market. This person will be responsible for sourcing, hiring and supervising instructors. The coordinator will assist in other program implementation and work-related tasks, as needed. This is a full-time, grant-funded administrative position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Two years of program or account management is required.
  • Scheduled evenings and weekends are required, on an as needed basis.
  • Must be detailed-oriented.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in continuing or adult education is a plus.
  • ESL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relevant training programs.
  • Work with state and national agencies to ensure program standards are met.
  • Responsible for registrations, monitoring payments, processing paperwork and reports.
  • Prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets, and other administrative tasks.
  • Source and supervise qualified instructors for classes.
  • Market and communicate promotional strategies.
  • Order and maintain inventory of course material.
  • Prepare proposals and other documents to promote services.
  • Participate in department events and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
