The Program Controller will provide accounting and administrative support to the Senior Program Controller and PMO.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance or Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Federal government contracting required
  • 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivables in support of US Federal Government contracts and subcontracts
  • Background check required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Proficient knowledge of Costpoint/Deltek/Cognos.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret and prepare financial reports and documents.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Must be dependable, have good work attendance, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the MIOS suite of companies.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Adaptive Planning is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify and prevent discrepancies and maintain official corporation records.
  • Perform project cost analysis on firm fixed priced, T&M, and CPFF contracts to include Estimate at Completions
  • Reconcile and track obligations, expenditures, and contract funding levels, including travel vouchers and other direct costs.
  • Provide financial data support for proposals and budget processes.
  • Track and review invoices and generate related support documentation.
  • Review cost estimating, including cost corrections and accruals.
  • Utilize a web-based tool to track Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EAC), and Forecasts.
  • Manage timecard compliance and ensure timecards are done accurately and meet all required deadlines 100% of the time.
  • Assist with annual budget preparation based on input from company leadership.
  • Complete Work at Risk and other documentation as needed for submission to the Contracts team.
  • Complete and initiate Purchase Order requests for vendors.
  • Provide monthly financial reports for projects
