About The Position

The Program/Contract Manager leads all aspects of contract execution for the Training Support Center (TSC) at Fort Hood, ensuring the successful delivery of TADSS services to Army, National Guard, and other federal customers. This role has direct responsibility for project management, logistics, personnel supervision, quality control compliance, and reporting. As the central point of contact, the Manager will interact with government stakeholders and ensure that contractual, operational, and reporting requirements are met at the highest standards, with zero deviation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; Project Management coursework required (24 semester hrs)
  • Minimum 5 years as Program Manager in the past 10 years
  • Proven corporate decision-making authority and ability to respond rapidly to execution requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing federal government contracts
  • Active SECRET personnel security clearance (DISS)
  • Proficiency in contract management, Army logistics, and warehouse operations
  • Must be available/respond within two hours during normal and contingency operating hours
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Proficient English (written/verbal)
  • Professional, courteous, and able to interact with government staff
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, database interfaces)
  • Timely, accurate documentation and reporting skills
  • All personnel must identify themselves appropriately as contractors
  • Ability to perform onsite work in office/warehouse environment
  • Some light lifting (<30 lbs) and ability to move within facility/warehouse
  • Capable of working in standard climate-controlled and potentially non-climate-controlled settings
  • May be required to conduct facility walkthroughs and inventory checks

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee contract execution and technical operations
  • Serve as main liaison to Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
  • Implement and update Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate personnel and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with all contract deliverables and reporting requirements
  • Respond to operational requirements within stated deadlines (e.g., lost/damaged property, incident reporting)
  • Maintain records and compliance documents as required
  • Ensure contract continuity and coverage, appoint and train alternates as needed
