Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Four (4) years of claims management, and/or other related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • In depth knowledge of claims management and/or absence management processes and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Self motivated
  • Ability and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Service Expectations

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates discussions with clients during implementation and as program changes are required over time, ensuring benefits are understood and properly documented and configured.
  • Analyzes client and federal/state benefits; makes recommendations regarding configuration and process options.
  • Maintains and verifies client and federal/state benefit parameters in the claims management system and researches issues to resolution.
  • Completes client data conversions by analyzing client / vendor files, mapping to standard templates, and working with vendors within expected timeframes set by Implementation.
  • Maintains complete understanding of program design, processes, client expectations and partner relationships; makes recommendations for improvements
  • Plays a key role in maintaining client relationships, assists in new business productions, and represents Company with specified industry groups.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).
  • Travels as required.
