SUMMARY: To provide effective quality, control and compliance audit functions for the Robert N. Barnes Regional Juvenile Facility in accordance with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department standards, departmental policy and procedure, and any other designated programing. Oversees a variety of services provided to the residents. Also evaluates case plans and maintains files. Provides oversight and maintenance for all administrative compliance factors in conformity with federal, state and local statues, policies, procedures and accreditation standards. Monitors all federal, state and local statues, policies, procedures, accreditation standards and other regulatory or governmental agency standards and ensures compliance. The employee is required to be on duty before, during and after natural disasters and emergencies, as directed by supervisor. Applicants must: 1) pass a drug screening; 2) pass a psychological examination; 3) pass a physical examination; 4) pass a background check. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Mental Health Supervisor. Acts as the Shift Supervisor as assigned in their absence.
