About The Position

As a key resource within Connecticut Children’s Office for Community Child Health (the Office), the program business consultant provides business planning services to programs and supports cross-program alignment and Office-wide priorities to strengthen their impact, growth and evolution. Through time-limited engagements with programs, the consultant integrates such topics as strategy, sustainability, impact, measurement and evaluation to perform special projects including, but not limited to, researching a defined problem or opportunity, performing an analysis, documenting a plan, identifying a resource, etc. The consultant may also take on temporary roles in launching and/or executing any plans that are developed. The consultant leverages positive relationships with program leaders and team members, Office leadership, other divisions (such as the Center for Well-Being and Care Integration, Marketing and Communications, Government Relations, etc), Connecticut Children’s leadership and other stakeholders as necessary to ensure business planning is comprehensive and execution will be successful. The program business consultant works closely with Office leadership, including the director, associate directors and manager, in performing duties that advance the Office’s and Connecticut Children’s strategic goals of strengthening programs, cultivating synergy across programs and incubating innovations to drive short and long-term benefits to help children flourish, thrive, and succeed. The program business consultant will operate effectively in ambiguous situations and maintain a deep commitment to the values and mission of Connecticut Children’s.
