About The Position

Serves as a primary point of contact for the Nursing Education dept. and demonstrates excellence in customer service in all interactions and with all of their customers. Interacts primarily with clinical faculty and nurse educators in the dept, helping them to organize classes, virtual and in-person. Books and confirms room reservations in advance of the class. Works with the LMS team to open classes, advertise classes, track attendance and run basic LMS reports. Works with other members of TLN, in a collaborative manner, seeking solutions that work for all parties and escalates unresolved issues to their Administrative Supervisor, and Director if needed. Works with nursing leadership and front line nursing staff to trouble shooting LMS issues, escalating to the LMS team when they need additional help and resources to solve LMS issues. Maintain Par level of supplies by taking inventory, ordering supplies in advance of programmed classes. Books moving firms when needed in advance of a scheduled class. Directs firm employees to move, remove, place items in specific locations. Maintains close working relationship with TLN, HR, and other departments, working together to solve day-to-day operational issues, escalating problems to the Administrative Supervisor, Director and AVP. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate computer and media equipment such as projectors, printers, scanners, desktop computers, laptops.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Strong service orientation- customer first attitude.
  • After training, must demonstrate proficiency in applying knowledge of all learning technology and databases, booking and confirming rooms, ordering supplies, communicating effectively with members of the Nursing Education dept.
  • Customer first attitude at all time.
  • Must be able to escalate unresolved issues to the Administrative Supervisor
  • Must be able to travel to locations in the greater New York area.
  • Some flexibility with start times required, may require early morning start at 6 or 7am.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Some database experience helpful.
