About The Position

The Program Associate, Strategic Engagement provides administrative and programmatic support to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Engagements. This role assists with coordination of meetings, tracking deliverables, supporting communications, and maintaining operational processes for the Washington, DC office. The Program Associate works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects and initiatives are organized and executed efficiently under the direction of senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of administrative, program support, or coordination experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public policy, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively support internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track tasks, timelines, and action items under direction.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of expense tracking and administrative financial processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with task tracking tools such as Asana or similar platforms is helpful.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when supporting senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Prepares agendas, notes, and follow-up action items.
  • Tracks project timelines and deliverables as directed by the SVP.
  • Maintains spreadsheets and internal tracking systems for programs and initiatives.
  • Drafts routine correspondence and assist with preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Supports coordination with external partners and government stakeholders.
  • Provides logistical support for events, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Assists with Washington, DC office operations, including vendor coordination and supply management.
  • Maintains organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Provides other administrative and program support as assigned.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for stakeholders, responding to routine inquiries and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in preparing updates and supporting materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, maintain distribution lists, and track follow-up action items.
  • Maintain project tracking spreadsheets and dashboards under direction of the SVP.
  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and meeting notes to support timely completion of initiatives.
  • Compile information for status reports and presentations as requested.
  • Document processes and maintain organized records for program activities.
  • Provide input on workflow improvements when requested.
  • Support post-event or post-project documentation efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
