The mission of the Bureau of Tuberculosis Control (BTBC) is to prevent the spread of tuberculosis (TB) and eliminate it as a public health problem in New York City. This role provides essential cross-cutting support for non-clinical functions within the Office of Medical Affairs. You will gain broad exposure by assisting teams involved in critical areas like drug-resistant TB case management and regulatory affairs. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and flexible individual willing to handle a variety of tasks, including essential administrative and coordination duties. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be adept at managing competing priorities, and demonstrate an eagerness to learn clinical/scientific subject matter and analytical techniques. While initial responsibilities focus on supporting team members, this role offers opportunities to contribute to data-driven public health improvements and take on progressively more complex tasks as familiarity and skills grow.
