About The Position

Endeavor Health Services is looking for a Program Assistant for our SOS (Safe Options Support) Team. The Program Assistant will provide a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support program operations. The Program Assistant works to ensure smooth and effective operational functioning and communication both internal and external programs. The Program Assistant is the first point of contact and should be kind, patient, and understanding in all communications.

Requirements

• Understanding and sensitivity to working with individuals with histories of trauma.
• Awareness of the impact of systemic racism on the individuals served in our programs.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Personal or professional experience with adults with behavioral health diagnoses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and screen telephone calls and answer program inquiries via phone, email, or mail.
• Provide triage support and direct assistance (both in person and telephonically) to program participants as needed.
• Work with SOS Team Leader to complete monthly reporting documentation.
• Act as program petty cash custodian and manage petty cash accounts.
• Assist with program operational logistics as needed.
• Provide specific administrative and program support to other members of the supervisory staff as needed, including scheduling meetings, assisting in set-up and preparation for special events, literature search, photocopying and compiling materials.
• Provide culturally sensitive services in accordance with the Endeavor’s policies and practices.
• Any other duties as assigned.
