About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency operating throughout Arizona, providing residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is recognized as a premiere non-profit provider of substance use and behavioral health programs, utilizing cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models. The Program Assistant is responsible for reviewing and verifying program participant records, ensuring data quality and integrity, and creating queries and reports. This role supports CBI programs by ensuring accurate and thorough data entry to meet program requirements. The Program Assistant will also prepare and provide necessary training to CBI Outreach and Housing Navigators to ensure a deep understanding of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and alternative data systems and data quality. They will understand community data standards and collaborate with Program Managers and Supervisors to develop program-specific data collection within the EHR and other database systems to efficiently provide funders with required reporting information.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Valid identification required

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience working with EMR and other database systems preferred
  • 1 or more years of clerical and/or administrative experience is preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recovery from substance use and or/mental health disorders preferred
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures preferred
  • Certified to complete the Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (SPDAT) preferred
  • Peer Certification preferred (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and verifying program participant records
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of the data
  • Creating queries and reports
  • Aiding Community Bridges Inc. (CBI) programs and ensuring data entry is accurate and thorough to ensure the various programs are meeting program requirements
  • Preparing and providing necessary training to ensure CBI Outreach and Housing Navigators obtain a deep understanding of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and alternative data systems and data quality
  • Understanding community set data standards
  • Working with Program Managers and Supervisors to develop program specific data collection in the EHR and other database system(s) in an effort to ensure each program has an efficient way of providing funders with information required for reporting
