About The Position
Position Overview: Assist with planning, preparing and the implementation of Senior Program activities Description of Position: Assist with program set ups as needed. Assist with implementation of Ladore Senior Program. Lead small group activities as needed. Lead full group activities i.e. MC Talent Show as needed. Cover for the Program Coordinator in their absence. Conduct property tours Perform related duties as assigned. The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the candidate will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.
Requirements
- Must love working with people.
- Valid PA driver’s license
- Experience working with older adults and older adult programming.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills
- Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.
- Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
