About The Position

PROGRAM ASSISTANT, SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM) , Center for Transportation & Logistics , will support admissions and academic services; maintain admissions database and communications; coordinate webinars, prospective student visits, and fellowship administration; assist with student onboarding and academic recordkeeping; update student resources and program websites; attend meetings and track action items; coordinate academic events such as orientations, luncheons, capstone presentations, and guest speakers; manage logistics including catering, budgets, and event materials; and support Supply Chain Management Program ( SCM ) staff, faculty, and student initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of three years of administrative, office, or related experience
  • strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks, take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
  • flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events or travel

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • experience with MIT systems (e.g., Slate, Buy2Pay, Concur)
  • familiarity with Google Drive, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • experience in higher education
