Position Summary : The Program Assistant supports the team members responsible for day-to-day operations of Northside Common Ministries’ emergency men’s homeless shelter and food pantry by ensuring accurate data collection, record keeping, and administrative support. This role plays a key part in maintaining the men’s shelter programmatic compliance and supporting service delivery through detailed tracking of participant interactions and facilitating intakes. The Program Assistant will perform routine check-ins and intakes at the food pantry and own inventory tracking and record keeping to aid in the accuracy of replenishment orders and future forecasting. In collaboration with the Housing & Community Services department and other agency team members, this position helps ensure effective and efficient services by maintaining organized and reliable data systems. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and consistency in handling data entry and documentation, along with comfort using technology and database systems to ensure accurate record keeping and reporting.
