About The Position

Assist in Medical Compliance program implementation by performing specialized functions distinctive to Medical Compliance. During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated on- or off-campus location or place of residence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Florida Statute 112.219.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Displays a positive, self-motivated personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a caring and patient attitude and utilizes resolution skills when interacting with students and staff.
  • Regularly Computer Telephone Fax Copier Scanner
  • This position requires a background check.
  • In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
  • The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator
  • This position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position has been designated as a CSA because it involves significant responsibility for student and campus activities and/or responsibility for campus security. As such, any person in this position must report to the University Police Department a crime or an incident that might be a crime that he/she becomes aware of.
  • All positions designated as CSAs are required to complete an online or in - person training session.

Responsibilities

  • Produces and composes routine correspondence or documents pertaining to the program(s) being administered.
  • Provides guidance and information regarding the administrative procedures surrounding the program policies, procedures, or services.
  • Processes data related to the administration of the program(s) following pre-determined procedures.
  • Compiles and/or coordinates fiscal data as it relates to the program; reconciles and monitors program accounts.
  • May assist upper-level management in the overall administration pertaining to the program.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
