The Program Assistant II assists department/Clinical Research Supervisor and/or Clinical Research Nurse in the implementation of program policies and procedures. Carries-out special assignments or projects in addition to performing administrative responsibilities. Program Assistant positions may vary widely in the specific responsibilities performed, as much of the work is project-based and specific to the individual department or study.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Organizational skills
  • General office skills (i.e., typing, filing, phone skills)
  • Word processing/computer skills
  • Written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Track and courier research samples and products, as necessary.
  • Ordering, organizing, and assembling research kits and delivering to appropriate labs.
  • Support specimen tracking in specimen management platform including initial set up of protocols.
  • Assists in the implementation of department/study policies and procedures.
  • Perform scheduling tasks and consenting for lab donors.
  • Maintain updated policies and procedures manuals.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
