About The Position

The Program Assistant supports the College and Career Center by supporting the philosophy, utilizing data, delivering student-centered competency-based services and managing resources effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
Complete at least two years of post-secondary study, have an associate degree or higher, or complete the Paraprofessional assessments in reading, math, writing, reading fluency, and demonstrate the ability to work with students.
Possess a current Oregon Operator’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
Ability to assist students in career development and exploration.
Be effective at building relationships with students and work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other adults and/or organizations to support students.
Knowledge of and experience with computers and the ability to maintain various databases.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Benefits

$16.80-$24.26 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
