About The Position

The Program Assistant supports the College and Career Center by supporting the philosophy, utilizing data, delivering student-centered competency-based services and managing resources effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
  • Complete at least two years of post-secondary study, have an associate degree or higher, or complete the Paraprofessional assessments in reading, math, writing, reading fluency, and demonstrate the ability to work with students.
  • Possess a current Oregon Operator’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Ability to assist students in career development and exploration.
  • Be effective at building relationships with students and work collaboratively with families, teachers, and other adults and/or organizations to support students.
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers and the ability to maintain various databases.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.

  • Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

  • $16.80-$24.26 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
