About The Position

Homans Associates (HA) is a subsidiary of the largest independent HVAC/R distribution company in the world, Watsco, Inc. We proudly distribute the Mitsubishi, Armstrong and Bryant brands of HVAC equipment, as well as a full line of HVAC residential and commercial parts, supplies, and accessories. We have locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey. This role is accountable for developing and executing program and marketing initiatives for HVAC equipment customers. Working collaboratively with territory sales managers, the program and marketing development manager will lead promotions, advertising, sales meetings, co-op and dealer programs, while driving adoption of our eCommerce website and WATSCO Ventures Technologies. This position will proactively build brand awareness and market presence to ensure prospective and existing customers are familiar with all of Homans' programs and services. Requirements

  • High school or equivalent (Required), bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related degree desired
  • Must have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic, high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for sales.
  • Must be a self-starter, articulate and possess excellent presentation, phone and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle, adapt, and provide solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial work environment while demonstrating the ability to focus on results.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and proven negotiating skills; high sense of urgency.
  • Engaging leadership style that builds and sustains credibility with vendors, staff, colleagues and customers

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate programs that promote Homans and HVAC equipment
  • Oversee overall brand marketing of major brands and Homans
  • Develop and rollout the Homans One Contractor Program
  • Develop programs and solutions for dealers that don't fit the Homans One model
  • Development and rollout of price books and all package deal promotions
  • Work with all product departments (MITs, Bryant, Armstrong, Gree, All Supplies) on standardizing go-to-market strategies to increase market share
  • Responsible for overall management of all Co-op programs—coordinating with teams while maintaining oversight of adherence to goals, objectives and budget compliance
  • Assist with the strategic development of contractor programs and supporting documentation (electronic or traditional)
  • Assist with the development and execution of yearly dealer and company meetings
  • Travel throughout the region to promote and support the different campaigns developed by the marketing and/or leadership team
  • Travel through the region to provide training and support on the Homans Mobile App, eCommerce site and WATSCO Ventures
  • Pro-actively develop creative digital assets to support programs and promotions
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven ability in developing and executing successful programs and promotions
  • Other duties as assigned.
