Responsibilities

Provide input and assistance with activity planning and scheduling; maintain flexibility to make unscheduled activity and assignment changes
Conduct and/or assist with daily program tasks and assigned 1:1 and group activities utilizing interpersonal skills to meet participant needs
Escort participants to and from activities
Assist other staff members by either engaging the 1:1 participant in that appropriate activity or with duties such as, but not limited to, personal cares, tidying up, interaction with other participants, etc. Non 1:1 related tasks may be performed if the 1:1 participant’s needs are being met
Assist participants with personal cares including using the restroom, pericare, showers, changing incontinence products, transferring, and other cares as needed.
Assist participants with medication administration under the supervision of Wellness nurse
Prepare and/or serve meals and snacks daily and assist with participant dining needs
Clean and sanitize dishes and general dining areas after each meal and as needed
Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, equipment and supplies after activities
